Do spirits stay the same?

One of the questions I often get asked when a loved one has passed is “Are they still the same person?

Your loved one had a personality on the earth plane that you will be familiar with. When they pass they still have a connection to you and one of their ways of showing you they are around is by showing you through their personality. If they were mischievous and happy, you can bet some of the signs they leave will be mischievous. Do things go missing and then return to where you know you left them?

Just like you learn and grow while you’re here, they learn and grow over the other side. Spirits will always communicate with you in a way that you would recognise them. That doesn’t mean however that they stay exactly the same and you don't either.

They see a much bigger picture from the others side and I get many a spirit that didn’t quite get it on this side ask their loved ones for forgiveness. I have also found spirits can also learn through other family members still here if they didn’t quite get to experience what they wanted to while they were here. Spirits who didn’t believe in the afterlife still come through and that’s usually the first thing they tell you, that they didn’t believe. They certainly do when the get there.

Whilst it isn't right that they stay here all the time as they have their own place to be, while they wait to be reconnected to their soul group and their next life time. They will want to ensure those in their soul group that are still currently on the earth plane, still receive their love and support.

A soul group is a group of souls that exist in the same vibration of evolution. It is a group of souls that evolve together and help each other life time after life time. Your immediate family would be part of your soul group but you may change places next time.

Sooo?? What is the purpose of coming back time and time again and why do we keep doing it? Because in the afterlife they don’t have or get to experience the physical. They don’t have the physical body to hold and experience love through in the physical form. Imagine never being able to hold and cuddle your loved ones, you can love them and be with them but you can’t touch them. The physical world is a beautiful gift to spirit. Unfortunately we have lost the beauty of what this plane has to offer and we have slowly been destroying this gift along with losing ourselves as the true spiritual beings of eternal love and light that we are. Not to despair for this is changing and you can see this with the mass awakening that is creeping over the earth plane today. If you have ever wanted to connect to your loved ones passed…then you are supported universally more than ever before as the mass consciousness of this plane awakens to return us to our true hearts and love for each other. A lot of our spirit family are there on the other side wanting to help us with this.

The most frequent question that I am asked is, “Can you really see dead people?”

What a medium actually sees and connects to is the soul, spirit or life force energy of the person who has passed. Our loved ones may have left their earthly body in this world but their spirit still lives on. A medium can tune-in to their energy with thier senses to connect to the soul or spirit of the person who has passed over. A medium will see the person as the person wishes to be seen. That vision is usually a vision that is familiar to the recipient of the reading. I have also found that some spirits will project an image of a time that was very happy to them. There are two types of visions a medium will see. The first one is in the mind’s eye like a series of pictures and symbols, we also get feelings and sounds. This is the most common. The second is the actual ghostly visions and presence. I believe it takes a lot of energy for someone who has passed to project a vision like this, which needs to be enough for us to see them. If they don’t need to go to that much trouble to get our attention they will just use the simpler projection method.

Real life medium experience:

fourteen years ago I worked for a photographer. It was my duty to call into the lab every morning and pick up the Studio photos. One morning my prints weren’t ready so I had to wait. Whilst waiting I noticed a small pile of photo’s face down on the lab bench. As I was about to pick them up I was advised that they were of a man who had been killed in a recent forestry accident and that I shouldn't view them. I didn't listen being a typical younger gemini and I picked up the pile of photos and looked at them. I should have done as I was told as I still have the image of those photo’s in my mind and my heart went out to the poor man and his family. Some ten years later on a tour to the city that I once worked in, I was booked in for some readings at a local shop. A young lady came to see me, about half way through the reading a dark haired man appeared to me in workers clothes and told me “Uncle”. The girl verified her uncle had passed. He then went on to say “accident” and showed me a vision of forestry. I immediately recognized him as the man in the photo’s I had viewed ten years prior. I confirmed his identity with his niece, the details of his accident and also gave her his messages for her family. Not even I would of thought that more than ten years after viewing those photo’s, I would actually get to meet the man in spirit and bring some peace to his family.

Do spirits have a body?

One of the hardest things to get our logical and analytical mind around is that spirits don’t have bodies, yet some can still see them. So how is this so?

When we die our soul or spirit leaves our earthly body or overcoat and crosses over into the spirit realm. They can still visit us from this realm but because they no longer have their physical body they are much harder to see.

In quantum physic terms scientists have discovered that everything in the universe is made up of energy vibration. The soul is no different. They also discovered that all energy vibration contains some matter and depending on the vibration speed and matter density this will determine if something is fluid, dense or invisible.

An experiment conducted on 10 April 1901, in Dorchester, Massachusetts by Dr. Duncan MacDougall was set to prove that the human soul contained matter/mass and thus it would be measurable on death.

His initial experiment studied the deaths of six terminally ill patients. The experiments consisted of a special bed constructed of light weight frame and delicately balanced on beam scales – sensitive to two tenths of an ounce. Considerations were taken during his study that the terminally ill patients lost weight slowly at the rate of once ounce per hour due to evaporations in respiration and sweat. It was recorded at the exact time the patient expired the scales recorded the loss to be three fourths of an ounce. Duncan MacDougall’s legacy still lives on today known as the “21gms theory” that the human soul weighs 21gms.

The soul or spirit being practically invisible like air, exists with a higher energy vibration. We can see air when other matter is caught up in it i.e. like the wind blowing dust in a dust storm. The wind picks up matter and so you can then see the swirly patterns of the air

The soul is an invisible vibration to the human eye, the different planes as explained in the workbook range up in vibration and depending on a soul's evolution it will be placed at the level the soul has evolved to.

The lower planes of course contain more matter and therefore the spirits that dwell in those planes have a denser energy vibration like when the wind has picked up dust. They will be easier to see.

The higher planes have a higher vibration and contain less matter and therefore harder to see.

Spirit if they come to visit the earth plane can like the wind pick up matter and attract it around them so that they can form an apparition of their soul body but this takes a lot of energy. You can't immediately assume that a loved one is on a lower plane just because you have picked up their apparition. They may have attracted matter to them in the same way the wind picks up dust to help you see them.

Psychics, little children and animals can see the spirits more readily because they have sensitivity to energy and the ability to see the higher vibrations. Anyone can develop this ability and this is explained in the workbook but some are already just naturals.

Spirits know when we need them

Welcome to life after life communication blog. Please note this is not the interactive blog that you will be given access to as part of the bonuses for purchasing the workbook. However I hope I can give you some useful information and tips.

I am currently on tour in South Australia for personal appointments and it doesn’t matter how long I have been doing this there are always readings with clients that leave a lump in my throat and I have to compose myself to ensure I don’t end up in tears with my clients.

In South Australia a man came to see me and usually it’s the guys that are the most sceptical. He sat down and straight away his wife came through and the love between these two was very, very touching and strong, they were missing each other terribly. She told me he didn’t want to live without her and that she had guided him to me as he had been considering doing something stupid. She reminded him of their two girls and told him she didn’t want them to be alone even though they were both happily married. She had already guided him to move closer to his girls. My client confirmed all of this, she told him that she didn’t want him to be lonely and she would help him with that. She told him times she had been around him which confirmed to him that she was around. He left the reading with a sense of peace and promised his wife he would stay to watch over their girls.

This is why I do what I do and why I want people to understand there is life after death. We are eternal beings in a state of evolution. Whether you are aware of it or not, your loved one knows how you are doing and will prompt you and try to guide you to what you need.

You just need to be open to receiving the signs, messages and signals from your loved ones as they will be trying to get through to you, even when you’re not picking up on them. The best time to try and pick up on their energy is during special occasions. Weddings, birthdays, births and anniversaries are all times that spirit will not miss out on. So on your next special occasion keep your awareness sharp and see if you can pick up on your loved ones spirit.
